becoming

i’m afraid to be

another froward third party

to you, when you already

have so much difficulty

and it’s possibly

unintentional psychological cowardice

though the therapist reassured me

the difference between

control and controlling is morality

yet my presence, though not empty

will always be a synonym

for i wish i could help freely

and in better quality

this poetry

is an apology

for all i haven’t delivered lately

because of who I’m afraid to be
